EMCOR DESIGN/BUILD CONSTRUCTION SOLUTION

The company participated with more than 140 CARE Team members, physicians, employees and patients to identify appropriate features and design the construction for the building. Every aspect of the hospital facilities - from the layout of the CARE Team stations on each floor, to the construction materials used to accent the lobby, to the layout of the patient rooms - was influenced by the group's comments.
ANSCHUTZ INPATIENT PAVILION FACILITIES BACKGROUND
The Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion was designed to offer the finest patient amenities, including bedside admission and discharge, private rooms with patient-controlled room features, family seating areas in patient rooms, and spacious lounges. Constructed with non-toxic adhesives, sealers, and finishes as well as other environmentally friendly materials, the building was designed to maximize daylight, using energy-efficient building controls that turn off fixtures in corridors and exterior areas during bright daylight hours. The client has applied for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
