MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION SCOPE OF WORK
Trautman & Shreve is helping the hospital achieve its objectives by assisting with mechanical construction of a new 474,272-square-foot addition and a new 624-car parking garage with its own self-contained snow-melt system. The construction services also covers a two-story 36-bed intensive care unit (ICU) building and a three-story surgery building containing 13 operating rooms, an auditorium, a food service, and central sterile technology facilities.
The mechanical services scope of work includes HVAC installation of a 1,200-ton commercial chiller with associated pumps and piping. In addition, Trautman & Shreve will upgrade the commercial boiler and cooling towers, and revise the fuel oil systems to the boilers. The company will also furnish new generators, as well as new chilled, steam, and condensate mains to the ICU and surgery buildings.

Porter Adventist Hospital is part of Centura Health. Colorado's largest healthcare system, Centura Health operates 12 hospitals and eight senior living residences, as well as homecare and hospice services. It provides care and comfort to nearly half-a-million people each year. With more than 12,000 associates, it is also Colorado's fourth largest private employer. Centura Health is a not-for-profit, faith-based organization sponsored by Catholic Health Initiatives and Adventist Health System.
