MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES SCOPE OF WORK
Trautman & Shreve began helping this client during pre-construction by providing budgeting, value construction engineering, and constructability services. To complete the mechanical construction services scope of work, the company installed a floor-by-floor mechanical system that shares chillers, towers, and boilers. In addition, each floor has a mechanical room with an air-handling unit for that floor. The company also furnished a complete plumbing network.
BETAWEST FACILITY BACKGROUND
BetaWest was originally organized in 1983 when U S WEST created its real estate subsidiary, BetaWest Properties. Over the years BetaWest provided asset management and advisory services to U S WEST, CalPERS, Amstar Ltd., IBEX, and Jupiter Realty Corporation. Since its inception, BetaWest has developed 10-million square feet nationwide and managed real estate assets in excess of $2 billion. In addition, the company has overseen more than five-million square feet of tenant build-outs and capital improvements, representing over $300 million.
