EMCOR MECHANICAL SERVICES SOLUTIONS
To help this client achieve its mechanical construction objectives, Trautman & Shreve provided a fast-track commercial plumbing and HVAC systems installation with flexible commercial scheduling to accommodate school functions and the summer break. The HVAC service scope of work involved removing all existing mechanical systems: unit ventilators and replacing the air-handling systems and heating water distribution centers that service general classrooms, offices, a conference room, the kitchen and cafeteria, gymnasiums, the library and library storage, a lounge, and a student service center, as well as a technical center, media center, and computer lab. In addition, Trautman & Shreve installed a new chilled water system that will allow year-around school activity. The company also re-certified the building's existing hydronic piping.
EUCLID MIDDLE SCHOOL FACILITY BACKGROUND
Colorado’s Littleton Public Schools (LPS) encompasses a 28-square-mile area south of Downtown Denver. An award-winning mid-sized district, LPS is large enough to offer a wide variety of educational opportunities, yet small enough to meet students' individual needs in a caring and personalized environment. The district educates about 16,000 students in grades K-12. There are 15 elementary schools (K-5), four middle schools (6-8), and three high schools (9-12). LPS also offers three alternative education schools and two charter schools (K-8). Many options for pre-school and either half- or full-day kindergarten are available.
