HVAC & PLUMBING SOLUTIONS
Trautman & Shreve helped provide a high-performance environment tailored to this client's innovative educational approach. The 42,000-square-foot multi-use facility includes art, science and technology classrooms, as well as media centers and a nursery.
Trautman & Shreve's mechanical construction scope of work included heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) installation as well as plumbing systems installation. The HVAC system consisted of five semi-custom rooftop air-handling units connected to a central chiller and boiler. This commercial heating and cooling system distributes air throughout the building via variable air volume (VAV) units with hot water reheat loops in individual zones. The plumbing installation involved typical restroom and kitchen areas, as well as specialty piping and fixtures for the science, art and nursery areas.
