MECHANICAL SERVICES PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK
Since this concourse was 3,000 feet long, Trautman & Shreve installed 17 mechanical rooms to effectively distribute tempered air throughout the concourse’s five levels. In addition, the company installed 1.3-million pounds of HVAC ductwork to distribute air from the mechanical rooms to 257 direct digital control (DDC) variable air volume boxes. The scope of work also included a plumbing system of more than 39 miles of hydronic piping that provided hot, chilled, and domestic water throughout the concourse.

Situated on 34,000 acres or 53 square miles, Denver International Airport is one of the largest airports in the world. From the expansive and beautiful Jeppesen Terminal to Colorado’s second largest public art display, it is renowned for aesthetics, aviation safety, customer satisfaction, and passenger convenience. It is the nation's fifth-busiest airport and the 10th-busiest in the world.

To add a new concourse with up to 60 full-service gates.
